Our clinic offers a number of diagnostic tests to help to determine the root cause of your problem. This testing may include:
- Structural (Posture analysis, Range of Motion, Orthopedic Testing, Muscle testing)
- Neurological (Cerebellar Testing, Eye Tracking, Bilateral Blood Pressure)
- Biochemical (ABO Diet, Candida, Cholesterol, Heavy Metals, Parasites)
- metabolic (measuring zinc deficiency, iodine levels and thyroid imbalances)
- allergy (food intolerances and common allergies)
- genetic (common genetic mutations or points of damage)
- kinesiological (common chemicals and pesticides)
All tests are safe, non invasive and are valuable tools to help us to deliver a holistic approach for your optimum health and wellbeing.
Diagnostic Examination Tests
Postural Analysis - This reveals any imbalances in the way you stand, such as imbalances in the hips, shoulders, knees and ankles. These imbalances may affect the function of the spine and all parts of the body.
Range of Motion – lumbar(lower back) and cervical(neck) movement is assessed for range of motion, pain and restriction..
Orthopedic tests – to identify the area involved.
Muscle testing – the muscles surrounding the joints give feedback about the nervous system integrity and possible areas of dysfunction. This is a valuable tool to demonstrate areas of weakness affected by joint and pelvic dysfunction.
Exercise Programs - once the muscles and nervous system is has improved fuction, an appropriate exercise program will be given to enhance and maintain your results.
Cerebellar testing – the cerebellum is a part of the brain concerned with movement, learning and balance.
Eye tracking – eye tracking involves complex brain interaction which is also related to spinal muscle function. This gives us information about brain and nervous system coordination.
Bilateral Blood Pressure – a difference can indicate uneven input and function of the nervous system between the left and right brain.
ABO Blood Type - Based on your blood type appropriate dietary recommendations can be made, as well as determining which foods you should avoid.
Candida - This is a yeast which is often naturally occurring in the human digestive tract, however, when it becomes overgrown due to dietary and lifestyle factors it can cause many problems, such as digestive problems, tiredness and achiness, as well as many others. It is often one of the hidden causes in people's chronic ill health.
Cholesterol - This test uses muscle testing and isodes to check with problems in your levels of LDL- so called "bad cholesterol", HDL- or "good cholesterol", as well as oxidized cholesterol and total cholesterol levels. The testing also indicates what is needed to balance the body's cholesterol regulation system.
pH - This test measures the acidity or alkalinity of the body. Most people are too acid, and this can be a major contributor to health problems and inflammation.
Parasites - This test measures proteins in the urine, which are a result of bacterial and parasite metabolism in the gut. By measuring the level of these proteins we can assess the degree of the problem in the intestine. These gut problems can cause many symptoms, often including lower back pain.
Zinc - This is an essential nutrient for growth and repair, as well as many other health functions. Chronic zinc deficiency has been identified in a large percentage of the Australian population, and has been shown to be a causative factor in many forms of slow healing.
Thyroid - By measuring iodine levels, as well as other symptoms of thyroid imbalance we can get a picture of thyroid function. Iodine is essential for healthy thyroid function. The thyroid regulates many aspects of metabolism, including weight control and temperature regulation. .
Polymorphism Screen - Using isode vials and kinesiology we can screen for common genetic mutations or points of damage. These are known as SNIPS (Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms). They can occur as a result of someone in your ancestry having a particular virus, as well as by other means. These SNIPS can cause problems with the way our body processes vitamins, leading to chronic deficiency, even when the diet is good. This can be the underlying cause of many health issues.
Chemicals/Pesticides - A screening test for common chemicals and pesticides that have been found to affect health. Virtually everybody in our society has some level of these toxins found in their system. They can affect many systems in the body, often including the brain and liver. This test also allows us to find what is needed to eliminate these toxic substances from the body.
