Meet the Team

Chiropractic Assistants

Hi, I’m Helen. I was first introduced to chiropractic 17 years ago after applying for a Chiropractic Assistant position which was advertised in the paper.  I was so impressed with the chiropractic video shown at the interview and the chiropractic principle that I immediately sought treatment.  After painful injections, ultrasound treatment, physio and massage for a “stuck” joint, chiropractic was the answer.  Now my whole family enjoys the benefits of chiropractic care.  One of the most enjoyable parts of my job is seeing chiropractic becoming a lifestyle choice for our new clients.

This is my second time working for Dr Sharon, I have been at the clinic since July 2012.  As you may have guessed, that interview a long time ago was with Dr Sharon when I worked in the clinic from 1996 to 1998.

After many years as a client of the clinic during which Dr Sharon has kept the effects of my assorted sporting injuries sternly under control and kept my children strong and balanced whilst sorting out some study and behavioural problems, I joined the clinic in 2012 as a CA.  I am currently on study leave from a Master of Human Nutrition degree and am fascinated to see how chiropractic not only stands on its own merits but forms part of a raft of disciplines which comprise a complete approach to health and wellbeing.  I very much enjoy the satisfaction of assisting Dr Sharon in her mission to help our clients on their journey to better health.
